What is Nologin txt?
Nologin txt is usually found when you use Linux operating system. Sometimes, you may need to access the user account by using password authentication. However, you may not need the interactive shell with the username. This way, you can prevent the account for accessing the system by using the password.
Another command which is usually used for nonlogin user shell is a message nologin txt. But the recommended way is using sbin nologin. As the example, in case you access the email server, the user account may store the email address and password to authenticate with their mail client. If it appears sbin nologin, it means that the user cannot access the system by using that account.
